Nikolaos Kafetzopoulos is a graduate of the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition at Harokopio University and holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the Department of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, Democritus University of Thrace, in the postgraduate program “Food, Nutrition and Microbiome (MSc Food, Nutrition and Microbiome)”, specializing in the gut microbiome and metabolic diseases.
He is the author of the book “Practical Guide to Sports Nutrition” (Parisianos Scientific Publications) and has distinguished himself as a water polo athlete with the Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni, participating in top-level Greek and European competitions — with his most notable achievement being the European Cup victory in 1997.
He currently works in the Dietetic Department of Asklipieio Voulas Hospital, responsible for the nutritional management of inpatients and outpatients, while also directing the Nutribase Center for Metabolism & Nutrition in Glyfada.
