NutriGene

Evaluation of genetic markers associated with nutrition and metabolism

Collection of cells from the inside of the cheek using a swab, isolation of DNA, and evaluation of twenty-five (25) genetic markers associated with nutritional metabolism, eating habits and intolerances, cardiometabolic health and related diseases, weight management, and body composition.

  • Evaluation of genetic markers related to metabolism of vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin D, vitamin E, folic acid, magnesium & zinc, lactose intolerance, stimulant effect of caffeine, starch digestion, alcohol consumption & side effects, taste perception of fatty foods, sugar preference, snacking between meals, feeling of hunger, feeling of satiety, caffeine consumption & hypertension, glycemic index & diabetes mellitus, consumption of omega-3 & omega-6 fatty acids & cardiovascular health, body mass index – obesity, protein consumption & weight loss, total lipid consumption & weight loss, weight regain
  • Nutritional recommendations based on the genetic profile

NutriGene™ is a comprehensive nutrigenetic service that reveals how your genetic profile influences your nutritional behavior, micronutrient needs, and metabolic response.

NutriGene™ is based on cutting-edge genomic research and is ideal for:

  • Individuals seeking personalized nutrition backed by scientific evidence
  • People who want to improve metabolism, weight regulation, and long-term health
  • Nutritionists and dietitians aiming to deliver individualized guidance with a solid scientific foundation
  • Anyone dealing with intolerances, dietary issues, or those with special nutritional interests (e.g., plant-based diets, fasting, low-carb), and who want to know what truly suits them

The goal of NutriGene™

Based on the analysis of genetic markers, the goal of NutriGene™ is to offer you personalized dietary guidance tailored to your unique genetic profile.

This analysis helps you:

  • Optimize intake of essential micronutrients (e.g., vitamins and minerals) according to your individual requirements
  • Manage body weight more effectively, using genetic insights related to metabolism, appetite, and energy balance
  • Balance macronutrient intake (fats, carbohydrates, proteins) for improved metabolic response and better dietary adaptation
  • Understand and manage food preferences like heightened cravings for sugar, fats, or caffeine—traits that may be influenced by your genes
  • Reduce genetic risk for cardiometabolic disorders, such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and dyslipidemia, through targeted lifestyle modifications
  • Promote preventive health, empowering you to make informed, sustainable dietary decisions aligned with your genetic predisposition

Nutrigenomics is a scientific field that seeks to understand how each individual metabolizes and processes various nutrients based on their unique genetic makeup. It explores the relationship between specific genetic variations and how they affect processes such as nutrient absorption, metabolism, and overall health.

By understanding your genetic profile, nutrigenetics enables personalized dietary recommendations aimed at optimizing health and preventing diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions. For example, certain genetic variants may influence how your body processes fats, sugars, or vitamins. Integrating nutrigenomic insights can lead to more effective, individualized nutrition strategies that promote long-term well-being.

Through your analysis, you will:

  • Discover your genetic blueprint for key cardiometabolic risk factors, such
    as hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia
  • Receive personalized dietary recommendations and lifestyle modifications based on your genetic profile
  • Be supported in lifelong disease prevention through informed nutritional
    and behavioral choices
  • Gain a deeper understanding of your cardiovascular function and
    promote targeted heart care
