FoodOxys and the Laboratory of Animal Physiology, Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Thessaly are two distinct yet closely interconnected entities that collaborate to promote science, innovation, and quality in the fields of food, nutrition, and biotechnology.

FoodOxys focuses on the provision of bioactivity assessment services, the development and implementation of quality certifications (AFQ), as well as personalized nutritional support, while the Laboratory of Animal Physiology supports scientific validation through analytical testing, controls, and research measurements.

The two entities operate under a Unified Quality Management System (QMS), designed in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, aiming at continuous improvement of effectiveness, ensuring the reliability of results, and meeting the expectations of all interested parties.

The Laboratory of Animal Physiology operates in accordance with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and documents every laboratory procedure.

The Laboratory of Animal Physiology supports FoodOxys through certified analyses, testing, and measurements, ensuring valid and reliable results. FoodOxys utilizes laboratory results for the development of AFQ certifications, services, and research programs.
