Dr. Angeliki Nektaria Makri is a Clinical Dietitian, graduate of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, with extensive professional experience in the field of clinical nutrition and metabolism. Since 1997, she has been running private practices in Athens and Larissa, providing personalized nutritional counseling and support services.<\/p>\n
She completed her postgraduate studies in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Thessaly, specializing in Metabolomics, and holds a PhD from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her doctoral research focused on the role of stress and heat shock proteins in pregnancy pathology. Her scientific interests focus on Nutrigenomics, Metabolomics, and the impact of chronic stress on the human body, including metabolic disorders (adrenal fatigue and chronic fatigue syndrome), neuromuscular disorders, insomnia, food sensitivities, and intolerances.<\/p>\n
Until 2018, she served as a lecturer in Holistic and Energetic Nutrition at NHS (Natural Health Science). She actively participates in the organization of seminars and educational workshops related to metabolic health, nutrition, and stress management techniques. She is the founder of the NMTA method (\u201cNutritional, Metabolomic & Temperament Analysis\u201d), which is applied both in her clinical practice and in the education of healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n
